A good deposition; it's all about preperation

_MG_6320.pngMy aunt Sarah was in town this week. She's a new attorney, so she asked for some pointers on how to conduct more effective depositions.

Simple, I said... There's no secret, it's all in the preparation. A deposition is evidence given under oath and recorded for use in court at a later date. In US judicial proceedings, the procedure for taking depositions is set forth in Rule 30 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and corresponding provisions in states which have adopted the Federal Rules.

Then I told her "remember to just go out there and have fun with it!"_MG_6356.png
