_MG_7134.pngYou can't keep me in here forever; and when I get out, don't think I'm going to forget the hours you left me rotting in this cage with nothing more than this pile of mildly distracting toys. Once I'm walking, this lazy excuse for parenting is going to come back to bite you... potentially literally._MG_7155.png

IMGP2698.pngIMGP2699.pngIt's Wednesday, and that means my friend Sequoia and I go to music class with the other band mates to rock out to Music for Aardvarks & other Mammals. I bop my head, wiggle my butt and crawl all over. My favorite part of class is when our teacher let's us play her guitar.

I went for my first "dip in the pool" this afternoon. I'm at my grandparents' for the week and they have one of those inflatable numbers— Perfect for a hot day, especially if you're not the one doing the inflating.

Generally speaking, kiddie pools are hard to come by in Brooklyn. They require two things I don't have: space, and a yard.

_MG_7048.png_MG_7037.pngA few friends were on the East Coast for a wedding, and they surprised us with a side trip to Brooklyn for breakfast at Dizzy's. Following a big breakfast Rob, Betsy, Nick & Nancy embarked on the fourteen hour, eight hundred mile drive back to Chicago. I can't speak for everyone, but the thought of fourteen hours in my car seat is pretty scary._MG_7025.png_MG_7010.png
